Vista Bay California Holistic Drug Rehabilitation

The VistaBay drug rehabilitation program begins with a drug-free withdrawal. During this phase, the client takes part in sauna therapy and nutritional therapy, which includes vitamins, minerals, amino acids and healthy foods. VistaBay’s sauna sessions help the client to sweat out any drugs or drug residues stored in his body’s fatty tissue, so that they will not be later released into the blood stream, which can trigger physical cravings for the drug.

Next, the client begins to work his way through the eight books of Narconon program as part of his cognitive therapy. He begins with Book 1: Therapeutic Training Routines, which puts him through drills and other practical lessons that will enable him to improve his ability to deal with situations in life, and to work to resolve them through communication. Midway through the VistaBay drug rehabilitation program, the client will come to Book 4: The Communication and Perception Course. In it, he learns that his decisions as an addict were not based on logic or reason but instead on drugs. He learns self-control and how to maintain control over his environment. The final book, Book 8: the Way to Happiness Course, teaches a non-religious moral code that will serve as a guide for proper conduct in the outside world.

Clients are allowed to stay in the Vistabay drug rehabilitation program until they are well and able to rejoin society as one of its sober members. Many conventional rehabilitation programs are limited to 28 or 90 days, but VistaBay clients can stay as long as they need to, at no additional cost. The program has a fixed fee, with the average stay ranging from three to five months, and clients leave the program with a six-month follow-up plan in place that involves twice weekly check-ins with VistaBay staff.
